Bill Book Printing FAQ

1. What is a 1ply NCR bill book?

A 1ply NCR bill book is a single-copy book — each set has one sheet with no carbon duplicate. It is suitable for simple invoicing, receipts, order forms and internal records where you do not need a duplicate copy.

2. What is the difference between 1ply, 2ply and 3ply bill book?

1ply is for single-copy records without duplicate copies. 2ply provides one customer copy and one company copy. 3ply provides an extra copy for accounting, office, warehouse, delivery team or internal record use.

3. Should I choose 1ply, 2ply or 3ply bill book?

Choose 1ply if you only need a single copy with no duplicate. Choose 2ply Bill Book if you need one customer copy and one company copy, or 3ply Bill Book if your business needs an extra copy for accounting, internal checking, site records, delivery team or another department.

4. Can I customize the bill book layout?

Yes. You can provide your existing bill book sample, invoice format, receipt layout or company details for reference. If you need a custom layout, artwork charges may apply depending on the design requirement.

5. What details should I provide for bill book printing?

You may provide your company logo, company name, SSM number, address, contact number, email, form title, terms, columns and any required fields such as customer name, item description, quantity, amount, signature or remarks.

6. Can you help me prepare the artwork?

Yes, we can prepare a basic draft using your logo and company details. If you need a fully customized layout or special formatting, artwork charges may apply (RM30/job). We will send the draft for confirmation before production.

7. Can I print in colors other than black?

Yes. The standard color is black, but you can choose a different single color instead, subject to an additional process fee.

8. Can I customize the numbering?

Yes, custom numbering is available from 4 digits up to 7 digits. Please note that the last digit must start with “1” for numbering setup. For example: 01001 – 03500

9. How many sets are there in one bill book?

Our standard bill book is 50 sets per book. For 1ply, each set is a single sheet with no duplicate copy.

10. How long does bill book printing take?

Production lead time is usually 4–6 working days after artwork confirmation. Delivery time is separate from production time and depends on courier arrangement and location.

11. Can I order custom size or 4ply to 6ply bill book?

Yes, custom size or 4ply to 6ply bill book can be arranged upon request. Please contact us with your required size, number of ply, quantity and sample layout for a custom quotation.
