All bill books are 50 sets per book and printed in 1 colour. If you are unsure, 2ply is the most commonly ordered option for general invoicing and receipts.

Numbering Format Guide

If you need running numbers on your bill book, please note these rules:

• Custom numbering is available from 4 digits up to 7 digits.
• The last digit must start with “1” for numbering setup — for example a run may be set as 01001 to 03500.
• Let us know your preferred starting number when you confirm your artwork.

What is a 4ply NCR bill book?

A 4ply NCR bill book means each written set comes with four copies. When you write on the top sheet, the writing transfers to the copies underneath. It is commonly used when businesses need one copy for the customer, one copy for office records, and two extra copies for accounting, operation, warehouse or internal use.

What is the difference between 1ply, 2ply, 3ply and 4ply bill book?

1ply is for single-copy records without duplicate copies. 2ply provides one customer copy and one company copy. 3ply provides an extra copy for accounting, office, warehouse, delivery team or internal record use. 4ply provides four copies, adding one more copy for a further department such as delivery, warehouse, filing or additional internal use.

Should I choose 3ply or 4ply bill book?

Choose 3ply NCR Bill Book if three copies — one for the customer, one for your company and one internal copy — are enough. Choose 4ply if your business needs a fourth copy for an additional department such as delivery, warehouse, accounting or filing.

Yes. You can provide your existing bill book sample, invoice format, receipt layout or company details for reference. If you need a custom layout, artwork charges may apply depending on the design requirement.

5. What details should I provide for bill book printing?

You may provide your company logo, company name, SSM number, address, contact number, email, form title, terms, columns and any required fields such as customer name, item description, quantity, amount, signature or remarks.

6. Can you help me prepare the artwork?

Yes. Once you place your order, you can choose your preferred design and send us your logo and company details — we will prepare the artwork for you free of charge. An artwork fee of RM30 per job applies only if you need a fully customised layout or special formatting. This fee is one-time: repeat orders of the same design do not need to pay it again.

7. Can I print in colors other than black?

Yes. The standard colour is black, but you can choose a different single colour instead, subject to an additional process fee.

8. Can I customise the numbering?

Yes, custom numbering is available from 4 digits up to 7 digits. Please note that the last digit must start with “1” for numbering setup. For example: 01001–03500

9. How many sets are there in one bill book?

Our standard bill book is 50 sets per book. For 4ply, each set includes 4 sheets: one top copy and three duplicate copies.

10. How long does bill book printing take?

Production lead time is usually 4–6 working days after artwork confirmation. Delivery time is separate from production time and depends on courier arrangement and location.

11. Can I order custom size or 5ply to 6ply bill book?

Yes, custom size or 5ply to 6ply bill book can be arranged upon request. Please contact us with your required size, number of ply, quantity and sample layout for a custom quotation.
