Which Thickness and Finishing Should You Choose?

Finishing: Matt lamination gives a softer, more premium look. Gloss lamination makes colours look brighter and more vibrant. Spot UV adds a glossy raised effect on selected areas over matt lamination — it works best on logos, names or small design elements you want to stand out, rather than across the whole card.

Artwork Requirements

• Standard card size is 89 x 54mm, with 3mm bleed on all sides.
• Keep important text and logos away from the trimming edge so nothing is cut off.
• Accepted file formats: AI, PDF, JPEG or PNG.
• We do not provide a design service for name cards — please prepare and send us your own artwork.

Business Card Printing FAQ

What is the standard business card size in Malaysia?

Our standard name card size is 89 x 54mm. Please prepare your artwork at this size with 3mm bleed on all sides.

How much bleed do I need for name card printing?

3mm bleed is required on all sides. Keep important text and logos away from the trimming edge so nothing gets cut off during trimming.

Which thickness should I choose — 250gsm, 310gsm or 360gsm?

250gsm is our standard thickness and suits most business use. 310gsm feels thicker and firmer, while 360gsm is the thickest and gives the most premium feel. Note that 360gsm cannot be used with Spot UV finishing.

What is Spot UV and what design suits it?

Spot UV adds a glossy raised coating on selected areas over matt lamination. It works best on logos, names or small highlight elements rather than the entire card, so the contrast against the matt surface is visible.

Why can’t 360gsm be used with Spot UV?

Art Card 360gsm is not applicable for Spot UV finishing. If you need Spot UV, please choose 250gsm or 310gsm.

Do you provide a design service?

No. Name card printing does not include design service — you need to prepare and send us your own artwork in AI, PDF, JPEG or PNG format.

Can I print on both sides?

Yes. You can choose single side or double side printing when placing your order.

Can I have round corners?

Round corner finishing is not included in the price shown. Please contact us for a quote if you need it.

How long does business card printing take?

Production lead time is 2–3 working days upon artwork confirmation.
